Lunar Race Engineering

Converting road cars into racing cars requires many upgrades to vehicle components which simply were not designed for motorsport. Safety features such as roll cages need designing and fitting. Suspension components need replacing to get the maximum grip out of racing slicks and allow the car to cope with the increased forces developed by the higher cornering speeds. Motorsport also requires much higher power outputs than standard and the need to finish races puts increased demands on reliability. With increased speeds, comes the need for greater stopping power. We have found that the majority of the after market components are superficial and when tested, not up to the job.

Lunar Race Engineering was developed out of Lunar Racing’s need to develop motorsport components for its racing cars and a need for Lunar Racing to find alternative funding. Lunar Race Engineering products have been extensively tested in the heat of competition and all profits are ploughed back into Lunar Racing.
