Lunar racing is working with 15-18 year old secondary school students from Sir Harry Smith Community College, Whittlesey and Unity City Academy, Middlesbrough. The Students of Sir Harry Smith are making E85 bio-ethanol fuel as part of their GCSE Applied Science course. This fuel is then being used to power the two Lunar Racing MG ZS 180's.

The two cars will be racing in the MG Car Club Peter Best Insurance Challenge from March to October 2008. Lunar Racing's first MG ZS has been assembled from the ground up by school students and the second MG, based on an MG Sport and Racing shell, has been prepared for the 2008 season by the students.
